Becoming an Aide

Reliable Aides Needed

Provide Personal Care for People with Disabilities

For many people with disabilities, having an In-Home Aide come into their home and help with basic tasks can mean the difference between living independently in the community or being confined to a nursing home. You could be the person that keeps an individual independent!

Heartland Independent Living Center’s HILC In-Home Care program is frequently in need of reliable Aides.

All Aides must be at least 18 years of age, pass a background check and also a drug screening

IHC Aides

The Aide will provide care to individuals assigned to them by the HILC In-Home Care program administrative staff. IHC Aides are needed in:

  • Franklin
  • Gasconade
  • Maries
  • Northern Crawford
  • Southern Osage

You can pick up an application for the IHC Aide at the Heartland Independent Living Center office, or you can call the number(s) listed above to request that an application be mailed to you. You can also download and print an In-Home Aide application from this website.
